For 2013, KMF plans to continue to support the four (4) priority programs as in 2012, namely:
1 – healthcare for the poor,
2 – support education for poor young children,
3 – support lepers, and
4 – support orphans and handicapped children.
We count on your continued generosity and support.
In addition, KMF would like to support the following projects, should additional funding be made available:
- Support improved meals for some more additional student houses in Dak Mot, Homoong, Dak Ha, Dak Glei, Kon Jodreh, Kon Xom Lu, Kon Mak, Chu A, with the objective of providing to each student USD 0.50 cents per day for food.
- Provide clean water to Dak Mot parish through a well and a distribution system to replace the current polluted source of water.
- Renovate the kitchen at the Dak Wok student house that is in extreme poor and unhygienic conditions affecting the health of students.
- Support the reading rooms in some remote villages in order to improve their knowledge.
- Provide some micro-credit to the poor through parish priests and nuns to help them achieve some economic development for survival.
With this plan, KMF foresees the need for some USD 142,000 for 2013, to be allocated as follows:
